In the 16th and 17th century, the true adventurers were those who shipped out on three-masted galleons to discover new worlds. And one of the most dangerous areas in the world was Cape Horn, South America.

The Cape is located in the "Roaring 40s" latitude, an area of the planet where there aren't any land masses to slow down the on-coming winds. So roundin' the Horn was quite treacherous with many galleons pushed onto shoals of the Cape, becoming just another shipwreck that never made it home.

We believe that building a software company is like being the captain of one of these galleons, in that it is both incredibly exciting and rewarding, but also quite treacherous.
